Toen we nog in de guldentijd leefden en je een dubbeltje vond zei men altijd “Dat brengt geluk. ” Wie dat bedacht heeft weet ik niet, waarschijnlijk iemand die dacht, dat is het begin van de honderdduizend. Nou, ik heb nog een heleboel van die dubbeltjes en wacht al heel lang geduldig op die honderdduizend. Maar goed, misschien gebeurt er ooit een wonder en win ik de hoofdprijs in de staatsloterij. Maar of ik daar gelukkig van word is nog maar de vraag.
Geluk hebben is iets anders dan gelukkig zijn en heeft ook niks met slim zijn te maken.
Iemand die een bank berooft en niet betrapt wordt heeft gewoon geluk.
Als je partner je trouw blijft heb je ook geluk.
Maar…als je hem of haar kwijt wilt, of inruilen voor een ander heb je geen geluk.
Als je zonder uit te kijken de straat oversteekt en je komt heelhuids aan de overkant heb je ook geluk.
Als je je partner beloofd hebt samen een lange boswandeling te maken en daar geen zin in hebt, kan je hopen en bidden dat het gaat regenen. Als dat gebed verhoort wordt heb je geluk, anders niet.
Als je veel eet en niet dik wordt heb je ook geluk.
Als je een kat hebt en die naast de kattenbak poept heb je geen geluk.
Als je net de ramen hebt gewassen en het gaat regenen ook niet.
Als je geld wilt pinnen en je je pasje thuis hebt laten liggen ook niet.
Ook niet als je het in je broekzak hebt laten zitten en die net in de wasmachine ligt die volop aan het draaien is.
Als je van nature knap bent heb je dat weer wel. Sommige mensen doe er alles aan om knap uit te zien. Maar vaak lukt dat niet, als het wel lukt heeft dat niks met geluk te maken.
Als je geen belasting betaalt ook niet, want de fiscus vindt je toch wel.
Als je geen geld hebt en boodschappen wilt gaan doen kan je wachten op een wonder, maar wonderen gebeuren niet. Vroeger gebeurden die wel, tenminste volgens de bijbel, maar toen hoefden de mensen ook geen boodschappen te doen. Dat was dan wat je noemt ‘Geluk.’
Als je nodig moet poepen en je na lang ‘ophouden’ heelhuids je broek kan laten zakken heb je wel geluk.
Net zoals je naar een feestje moet waar je geen zin in hebt, dan hoop je dat het niet doorgaat, dat je de griep krijgt of zoiets. Gebeurt dat, dan heb je geluk, maar als je veertien dagen later nog steeds ziek bent, heb je geen geluk meer, maar pech.
Als je je op je werk ziek hebt gemeld en je op een feestje je baas toevallig tegenkomt heb je ook geen geluk.
Als je de voordeur vergeet af te sluiten en je als je thuiskomt tot de ontdekking komt dat je hele huis is leeggehaald heb je ook geen geluk, maar grote pech.
Net zoals je hoopt dat ze die oude auto van je jatten, die laten ze staan.
Of ik wel eens geluk heb wil je nu natuurlijk weten?!
Ja, zeker weten, Ik doe weleens dingen die niks met geluk te maken hebben. Maar eerder met ongeluk, per ongeluk poepjes in bed laten en zo…
