Ik heb eens nagedacht én er zijn dingen die ik niet begrijpen kan. Neem nu onze huisdieren, ik heb er geen, wel gehad, honden, poezen en papegaaien. Helaas zijn ze overleden, nu heb ik geen huisdier, maar ik vind ze wel leuk. Dat is het punt niet, wat me verbaasd is hoe krom de wetgeving hier is. Als je een hond hebt moet je hondenbelasting betalen en dat niet alleen, hem ook uitlaten. Minimaal drie keer per dag.
Voordat je de deur uitgaat met Fikkie moet je ervoor zorgen dat je een poepzakje bij je hebt, dat is verplicht. Zo zijn de regels, als je geen bij je hebt en ze betrappen je, ben je de lul. Zodra Fikkie aanstalten maakt om zijn darmen leeg te gaan maken, moet je dat zakje uit je jaszak vissen en er klaar voor staan. Op het moment dat hij dan die drol heeft uitgeperst moet je hem, terwijl hij nog warm is oprapen met het zakje. Dan ben je er nog niet, Nééé, dan zoek je de dichtstbijzijnde hondenpoepafvalbak en daar deponeer je dat zakje dan in. Opgelucht loop je dan naar huis, wast je handen en wacht op de volgende ronde.
Bij katten is dat anders, die hoef je niet uit te laten, die gaan alleen. Maar…ook die hebben net als onze honden de darmen vol zitten. Tja, en dan komt het, die mogen zonder een centje pijn overal onbeperkt poepen. Goed, niet iedereen is blij als de kat van de buren in je tuin poept, maar de wet verbied dat niet. De politie kan je bellen, maar die komen écht niet, die blijven lekker op hun krent zitten. Hoezo krom? Stront is stront! Waarom mogen poezen dat wel en honden niet? Ik vind dat je dan een lijn moet trekken, goed, een poes laat je niet uit, die gaat alleen, maar het gaat me om het principe. Voor een hond betaal je belasting en als beloning mag je zijn poep zelf opruimen. Voor een kat hoef je geen belasting te betalen en mag je zijn poep gewoon in de struiken laten liggen. De afval van de kattenbak mag je gratis bij het huisvuil gooien, geen hond die het boeit. Het zal wel aan mij liggen, maar ik snap er geen reet van.
Anders is het bij paarden. Ik heb het opgezocht en inderdaad er is geen wetgeving die zegt dat je paardenpoep moet opruimen. Die mogen op straat schijten. Goed, er zijn paarden die een soort paardenluier omhebben. Dat zijn paarden die in de grote steden over straat lopen en een keurige baas hebben. Mijn zoon woont in Duitsland en daar gelden dezelfde regels als hier. Paarden lopen in de dorpen veel over straat en laten gewoon hun drollen vallen terwijl ze vrolijk verder wandelen. En… ook daar bemoeit de Polizei zich niet mee.
Nu ik er zo over nadenk vraag ik me af wat er zou gebeuren als ik op straat zou gaan zitten poepen en geen poepzakje bij me heb om het op te ruimen. Waarschijnlijk zouden ze me met de neus op, of in dit geval, in de feiten drukken. Tenminste dat denk ik! Nou nee, ik weet het zeker!

Dat ook in hoeveelheid veel minder is. Natuurlijk wel vervelend voor mensen die lekker in hun tuin werken. al heb ik zelfs hondepoep gevonden in mijn tuin??. Hier zit natuurlijk wel veel verschil, kattenpoep hoeft niemand van de gemeent opteruimen, hondepoep wel, op de stoep, speelveldtjes etc, als iedereen dit gewoon al had opgeruimd was er nooit hondebelasting gekomen, helaas zullen sommige mensen de dupe zijn dat niet iedereen zich hieraan heeft gehouden.
